The music is simply top-notch: everything I crave in a synth-laden experience is inordinately well represented. If you're questing for a soundtrack to adventure, Desolation Plains delivers in spades. Like unto any great form of escapism, this is an adventure that wholly succeeds at creating a little patch of adventure outside the bounds of hum-drum existence.
